Madrid, Spain

Posted in: Travel

Mr. Gal and I have this love love love of traveling. So lucky us, while we were visiting family in Germany, we took a little trip to Madrid, Spain to eat some tappas, drink some sangria and to hablar nuestro español. We stayed within the city center, walking up and down alley’s and street filled with delightfully colored buildings and quaint restaurants.

{One of my favorite finds was this flower shop..Die!!}

{I could live with a balcony like this}

And we spent hours at this parque hermoso, and I could of spent all day there…
so many beautiful sights within one park including an old train station made of glass!

Posing in front of their Palacio de Comunicaciones…

One of my favs about Europe is the cappuccinos?? One for breakfast, lunch and dinner… and, hey…we’re in Spain so I’ll take one with my siesta as well! {Please pardon my wild and crazy hair.}

My mouth is watering now… eating olives and drink sangria in the mercado de san miguel…wonderful!!

Wandering around…

I loved spending some time in Madrid!And… after reading about Barcelona at a Brooklyn Limestone in Progress….next trip? Thank you, Mrs. Limestone. My husband will appreciate it {wink}.

¡Viva España!

    I went to Madrid in September last year, the first trip my boyfriend and I took overseas. I think I went to all the places in your pics, other than the flower shop. How awesome does the colours look against those old spanish buildings. Such a beautiful city. Oh and the tapas, I did an Adventurous Appeties Tour which took you to all the little pubs and ate so many different types of tapas and the sangria mmmmmm so good!
    Saying hi from Centsational girl :)
